SKILLS
Molecular Ecology & Genomics
Expertise in DNA extraction, PCR, and advanced population genomic methods, including double-digest RADseq (ddRAD) and SNP-based analyses for studying rapid evolution.

Bioinformatics & Data Analysis
Proficient in dDocent pipelines for SNP discovery and population genomics, as well as R and related tools for analyzing genetic diversity, population structure, and genotype–environment associations.

Eco-evolutionary Research
Research with invasive species, integrating genomic and experimental approaches to disentangle adaptive and non-adaptive drivers of rapid evolution.

Experimental Design & Greenhouse Management
Designed and coordinated a large-scale common garden experiment with 300 populations and over 5000 pots, plus multiple side experiments. Managed a team of 12 assistants, ensuring consistent experimental design, plant maintenance, and trait data collection over a four-month period.

Fieldwork & Plant Ecology
Extensive field experience across diverse environments, including the collection of seeds and plant tissues, establishment of ecological plots, and measurement of environmental variables.

Science Communication
Experienced in preparing scientific articles for peer-reviewed journals and presenting research results at international conferences in Germany and abroad.

Technical & Organizational Skills
Skilled in laboratory management, project coordination, and mentoring research assistants. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accustomed to managing complex, multi-part projects under deadlines.

Languages
Portuguese (native), English (fluent), Spanish (good), German (basic, B1 in progress).

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Guest lectures and invited talks in Ecology and Evolution courses at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany (2021–2025), sharing insights from my PhD research on population genomics, rapid evolution, and experimental ecology.

Teaching assistant for the Molecular Ecology course (60h) for the Undergraduate Ecology program (2015, 2019), UNESP.
Teaching assistant for the Microbial Ecology course (60h) for the Undergraduate Ecology program (2018), UNESP.
FIELD TRIPS
As an Ecology student and researcher I had the opportunity to visit and do fieldwork in several different ecosystems. I have been in islands (Cardoso Island, Anchieta Island), grassland, outcrop, mangroves, salt marshes, Cerrado (Brazilian savannah), Pantanal, and, especially, the Atlantic Forest.
